Prism has two parts: a Chrome extension that captures data on your device, and a dashboard where your wallet and AI insights live. A sync token links them, securely, once.
Add Prism to Chrome from the Web Store. No account needed yet. The extension icon appears in your toolbar. That's it. Nothing runs until you complete onboarding.
Chrome Web Store · freeOn first launch, Prism walks you through a short GDPR consent screen. You choose exactly what to share: browsing data, AI processing, notifications, and confirm you're 16+. Every choice is logged with a timestamp. You can change any of it at any time from the popup.
GDPR compliant · takes ~60 secondsSign up at the Prism dashboard with your email. This is where your encrypted data wallet lives. your interest graph, AI insights, tracker exposure score, and consent manager. Your account is separate from the extension so your data is never tied to a device.
Email + password · Supabase authInside the dashboard, click Generate sync token. This creates a one-time secret key unique to your account. Copy it. It's only shown once. This token is how your extension proves it belongs to you, without ever sending your password.

All browsing data is stored in your personal encrypted wallet. It is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. You can delete everything instantly, at any time. Export your full data profile with one click.
Your wallet is encrypted with AES-256. The encryption key is derived from a password only you know using PBKDF2. It is never stored on our servers. Even if our infrastructure were compromised, your data remains unreadable.
The AI assistant works from anonymised summaries only, never from raw browsing history. AI processing is optional and requires explicit consent during onboarding. You can turn it off at any time from the extension popup.
Prism collects granular consent for every data type before capturing anything. Each consent decision is timestamped and logged. You can withdraw any consent at any time from the popup. Processing stops immediately.
Delete individual browsing records, delete data per site, or wipe your entire wallet with one click. Deletion is immediate and permanent. There are no soft-delete or backup retention periods on user data.
Prism collects only what's needed for the product to work: page URL, title, time spent, category, and tracker signals. No keystrokes, no form contents, no screenshots, no microphone or camera access, ever.
